Compiling guide

Here you can find the build guide for building under MSVC:

You can use MSVC 7 and superior. PS doesn't support any longer MSVC 6.

If you have any suggestions, comments, something wrong, to make it clear, whatever, just post it!

I did use another compile guide trying to build the open source Planeshift - http://planeshift.cvs.sourceforge.net/*checkout*/planeshift/planeshift/docs/compiling.html

it seemed to be working until I was downloading the source of PS. Any idea?

Unfortunately the guide I was maintaining doesn't exist longer and this thread hasn't been updated by the new responsible of the guides with the new guide you have been using.

Can you please indicate more precisely what kind of error were you getting when downloading PS? Or what is not clear?
