About the joke part, just lock it. I'm extremely surprised it wasn't locked after the first few posts, and is a waste of time, just trash it.

A pointless post?  From reading it, I thought there was a point..a pretty good one, too.

I think the real problem here is the posts about locking threads, if you had any authority on the subject you would be a moderator.  You're not, so quiet down and use the report button.  People get pissed when someone doesn't use the search button, I think the same concept applies here...

EDIT: And by good point I don't necessarily mean correct point.

Seriously. If people want something taken care of, click the "Report to moderator" link or send us a PM. Saying "this should be locked" over and over is spammy.
