And how exactly do you expect to stand up agains the gods?  Surely you don\'t think that you could ever overpower them with sheer numbers.  Or even with what little magic we may dabble in.  

I assume you are intelligent enough to realize to accomplish this goal of yours you will need to tap into the power of the crystal.  That would be a sight.  As much as I\'d like to see it I will warn you nonetheless.  The crystal will not accept a mind corrupted by morality or mortal intentions.  Whether the being is good or evil I doubt it would matter.

As I stated above, numbers will not overcome gods.  it is true that with more people you will not need to be quite so powerful individually.  But still, even with hundreds of followers each one would have to be well beyond mortal strength.

You are right in this observation, but you make it sound as though I am claiming a side here.   On the contrary I am merely informing you of your inevitable doom.  While you go about scheming, I shall be miditating and purifying my soul as well as mind in order to accomplish my ultimate goal.  To become one with the crystal and yet maintain my once mortal form.

Morality not only states what is good but also what is evil.  You and Aelya are both moral beings, you even proved that yourself by referring to yourself as \"unholy\" and \"unjust\".  You too are corrupted by morality.  Perhapes you no longer even feel if you are doing something morally wrong.  But you are still a moral being nontheless.

Yes, I realize the gods couldnt be overpowered by any mortal means. But we shall find a way, rest assured. And once this happens there will be no stopping us. We will find a way to force the crystal to \"accept\" us. There is a method,logic,ways, and a science to everything that exists. And it shall be discovered sooner or later.

What we view as morally right, others might view as morally wrong.

The crystal gives the gods themselves power, therefore it must be more powerful than the gods.  How do you suppose your going to force the crystal into doing anything when you can\'t even challenge the gods?  Also, I doubt you could trick it either.  I\'m quite positive it is much more intelligent than you or I.

It does not matter what your sense of morality is, but the fact that you are moral corrupts you, as it does everyone else.

History is full of mortal men who stood up against the gods and destroyed them.
Take the Greek Gods, they fell in their finest hour, and well, so shall anyone else. Even heard of \"embrosia\" the food of the god. Mortal men gain immortality when embrosia is eaten, and have the power equal to that of gods.
Nothing in this world is certain, this contradicts the \"dark\" side, and well, somewhat stengthens your point about a \"resistance to overthrow us. But no matter, god are not certain, and they can fall, in not with might of the sword of Hellsing, then with the shere numbers of the \"Dark Alliance\"(no matter how much I hate it, I will use it)
But guess what, one of us is right, and well, only time will solve this, but never the less, I would like to hear more of what you have to say Vladamir.

BTW, are you by any chance Russian? :D

Since when did greece exist in the realm of Planeshift?  Also was not part of the fall of Greek gods due to the Titans?  I can\'t really argue about this because I\'m a little rusty on my Greek mythology.

Did we not already discuss the fact that sheer numbers will not overcome them?  If I remember correctly Aelya agreed with me on that point.

Well yes, tis true time will solve this.  Either your Dark Alliance will be massacred by the gods, or you shall overthrow them, and then of course end up eating yourself from the inside out.  Also if you were to succeed, who knows what the inbalance in good and evil would cause.


Nope, not Russian at all.  Accually I\'m from Michigan, US.  But my lineage is mostly German and Irish.

Oh poo, it seems our debate has died off a bit.  Guess we\'ll have to think of a new topic of discussion.  Eh, wait a second.  Do all gods recieve their power from the crystal or just Laanx and Talad?

Actually, wasn\'t Malaki one of the fallen angles in either \"Ragnarok\" or \"Paradise Lost.\" Started both, finish neither...lol :D
And yes, I would assume gods to get their power from the crystal, but who says that mortal men can\'t tap the crystal as well? I mean, it seems as though crystal is the source of life in the cavern, THINK OF THE POWER!!!!

Check my sig. I have already harnassed some of its power, It is very vague but the wise wizard who upbrought me somehow managed to attain some of the power and place it into a replica-crystal, for me to use :) Once In game - I will try to place the stone onto my staff
