The dwarvesbane guild is as its name says a guild of characters that hate dwarves. So yes they do stand for impolite behavior more or less .. the behavior is in-character though or at least it should be.

There has already been an entire thread to argue about whether or not this guild is a good thing.

I'm guessing you play a dwarven character and have been targeted by their racism. I'm not sure what happened exactly but you probably shouldn't take it too seriously or deal with it in-character. I'm certain you can find a lot of helpful characters who'd enjoy standing up against the Dwarvesbane for you.

I know some players who have their characters in the Dwarvesbane guild and they are quite good roleplayers. Their in-character actions can be annoying, but please deal with them in-character.

At the end you will see that as players they are very nice and friendly, only their characters are annoying ;)

The game needs some good characters..... \\o//.....If that is the way the dwarvesbane members act.....then they should stay in character...if your a dwarf....DEAL WITH IT!

ps.   I'm not a dwarvesbane member....I just like good roleplaying

I think I know what this is about.  There were accusations of kill stealing flying at the rogue near Enack.  A klyros was hogging the rogue, then a Dwarvesbane member with daggers started monopolizing it instead.  A lot of names and curses were exchanged.  I left without seeing how it was resolved.

If it's in-character, then it's acceptable. I don't agree with the philosophies of the dwarvesbane guild, and had a wonderful RP argument with a member of that guild yesterday, but if it's role-played, it's part of the game.

If they were offensive out of character, report it to a GM.

Or we can take Kergen's suggestions, groffles at ten paces  ;D My little pet is aching to bite someone  :)

Haha, my pet is not actually a groffel, I will just leave it at that. Anyone who knows me knows what I am talking about.

Well in character towards dwarfs ... yes. Though I find when people start taking out of character and getting upset most of the dwarvesbane guild members will back off. They do a wonderful job in their roleplays from the ones I have meet. Actually I watched an encounter in the plaza the other day, and as it turned out it was the dwarvesbane member who ended up being stalked and bothered. So the door swings both ways on this one. I suggest working out the problem in the game, in character and not mixing RL with RP.

To give them a fair chance i maid a dwarf and played in game for a week, my opinion is still the same, don't wont nothing to do with them. Also would add if I say IC [Janner]"I don't like your guild and I prefer not to talk to you" , I mean I don't wont to talk to you. That also does not mean I am rood or evil.

Yeah, I don't think of them as very respectful of other players.  Just give it time I guess?

Sorry to hear that.

As I said before .... the door swings both ways. I have seen others against this guild act out in the ways they complain about. Basically my point is the ones who do this shouldn't throw stones until they can clean up their roleplaying skills.

I have refrained from posting about Dwavesbane because although I feel any promotion of racism is wrong however roleplayed. I would like to point out that there are some young players of this game, who may not be able to understand the issues, and I have already had to reassure my son once that it wasn't a personal attack.
