Sewer Environment Glitch
« on: May 11, 2006, 06:19:24 am »
I was headed down into the sewer to work on some rats and maybe get some things to sell and I ran into a bug.  As you are looking down the little ladders, the left edge of the hole, just over the edge I walked just to look around and I could see through the ground to my left and everything had a "repeat" effect.  Like it trailed my mouse and the trail stayed on the screen, you know what I'm talking about.  Here's a screenie if it helps you out, just wanted to let you know I'd ran into this.  It didn't impede gameplay, as soon as I walk back out onto the normal ground my view returns to normal, but every time I step onto the brown edge of the hole it comes back.

It's not unheard of. I get them mainly in the sewers, but also when exiting the tunnel between Hydlaa plaza and the arena.

That "screenie" is no longer available, so, I am not sure if it's the same thing, but I also get this repeat effect like thing often. This doesn't affects my gameplay either, excpet when I am getting out of sewers (from behind the tavern), I get this repeat effect and even if I don't move, I fell down somewhere and die (this happens when I reach the top of stairs, that is where stairs and floor meet.)

I can upload screen shot if needed.

It's a very much known issue - I've kind of learned to jump over it to where I think the next groundplane is.
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.
