Card Game

Nice examples, rast! I like at least the basic idea of them.

But I am afraid that I was never much interested in collectible cards (like Magic/Gathering or Yu-Gi-Oh). First I thought of classic card games (Rommé, Skat, etc.), and Jack/Queen/King/Ace pictures for them.

@ Rast: Thanks a million AGAIN!! I love them... AGAIN!!!! you've been a great help my friend! and a dark element won't be inserted, cause having 5 elements fits most of the current rules. but your designs look great! I'll try and make a few examples of cards using your lay-outs asap.

In the mean time.. some test-cards for you to view. These are basic examples, and will be used for rule-testing. They are made wit Paint shop pro, which is a big pain all in all.

I've been wanting some type of cardgame for awhile now.  Anyway I don't totally understand the rules, but I'm willing to learn and help anyway I can.
I got started on Fire, if it's ok I'll use something closer to what Rast has started, miy cards appear alittle too ordinary...
anyway here's my start, the font will may change yet, not sure.

Thank you Lepall! Looking good! I like the ay the picture is inbedded to the card. Still haven't figured out how to that. Also, I love the type of letters you are using in this one. Rast has some sort of advantage on us both though... cause his layout looks MAGNIFICENT!!! I'm currently working on a full set of rules, which will take some time. After that, I'll make some really basic player cards like the ones I put on before. Then I'll see how it will work In Real Time. And most likely have to alter the rules a couple of times.

Once this is all done, the Starter deck will be created, and small packs of 5 cards each. So basically, I'm showing you some of the final product already, but it is still a long way from where I (we) am (are) now. I'm still taking this pretty serious! and will do as much as update you on the progress daily. But, mygreat friends. I LOVE your in-put, and you're really helping me out here.

would it be possible for players to design a character card about themselves? And i love what your doing... when the game is rdy il be right there rdy to play    quick question: is this game going to be fighting only or will there be an economic twist on the game?

Economic twists as well. You pay gold to play a character. Gold is gained in battle, by doing quests or by defeatiing GM monsters. All of these will be explained when I myself understand my plans in full :S

What would his main advantages be? Charm / cleverness / trust / frankness?

i am just working on a transparent template and the five different backgrounds textures for the cards , so u will be able to add in pictures easier,etc
