Somthing about the drawing part of this endevour links in to the great fan art project to be honest.
Because (and I'm not trying to put anyone down) some of us arnt the greatest artists, we cannot correctly draw out characters. We might not even know what we want them to look like properly.
Hence: If we put down a description of our characters, and then let the more skilled artists deal with drawing out your characters, the general quality and usability of pictures becomes alot higher. It is the long way round but I think that it would be worth it in the long run.
