OMG what will Cherppow Greywood do?  :-X

Can't wait till ya post more of this little cartoon Cherppow, I find I am really enjoying it. Your video was fun too.
I've been outside, it's overrated and the graphics suck!

Greetings once more!

Indeed, what will Mr. Greywood do? Let's see...

Although shy and quiet on an ordinary a day, there are some things that wake Cherppows passion. One of them is his love for justice! Picturing an innocent child being devoured by a wolf is too much for him, and he acts!

It was only later that our hero realized wild animals don't obey words easily.

In this case however, his tactic yields results...

Surprised by the strange old mans sudden hostility, Miry panics!

But only for a moment. She then recalls what her mother used to tell her about strange men.

Seems like Cherppow is not the only one with an active imagination. Whatever miss Mistwind is thinking, it leaves her fairly aggravated.

Both sides blinded by anger and hate, a fight is inevitable!

Oh no! The companions clash in a cloud of smoke! Who will prevail?! And who IS the third character? Find out in next episode! :P

Thanks for reading,

Hi again,

Thanks for the comments. :)

Even in the peak of her fury, the elven girl is incapable of any real violence. Instead she relies in throwing her enemies with...

Oh man! A carrot to the forehead! What a humiliation!

Still nothing on the little guy, but we're getting there. :)

Yaya, Cherppow! Great to see you around again.

I know I hate getting poinged with carrots on the forehead.

Greetings,

It's been a while, but thanks for the comments everyone.

My apologies, Zorbels. It seems I turned out to be a liar, as I told I wasn't going to continue this. The few days reading the forums and hanging in the irc have given me back some of the inspiration. I still give no promises for how long it'll last, but apparently at least long enough to make a few additional piccies. So here they are... :)

While Miry and Cherppow are engaged in their righteous dispute, a third character awakes from his unconscious state. His appearance is strangely similar with that of a Cherppow, but who is he really?

Somehow he doesn't seem too happy about the circumstances that surround him.

It comes as a shock to the ordinary man, when Tymus effortlessly rises off the ground and identifies himself as one of the greatest wizards ever known (and forgotten)! This doesn't seem to interest our duo too much, though.

But how on Yliakum did such a ridiculously powerful magician get here? Or a more appropriate question perhaps, why does he take interest in such unimportant people as our duo?

And such was the fate of Sir Tymus, who turned into red linen for eight hundred years due to moments lack of concentration. But what is the fate of Miry and Cherppow, what will they wish for? Do they, as was instructed, choose wisely...

...but that's in the next episode. :)

Thanks for your interest,
 - Cherppow

Nice! I wonder what they'll choose. Eternal life, incredible riches, unlimited knowledge, love, or do they turn each other into a trout ;)

I love that "picture book" style. It's not "just" comic, but some narration perfectly rounded with the images at the perfectly right places.

..you make drawing look so easy..
I really should spend (more) time with drawing myself.. but it's kinda really boring _because_ I suck so much. Were I better at it, I possibly would draw more often, thus get the practice I need.. ..but since it's boring, I am currently not willing to spend some of my already "rare" spare time for it. Stupid vicious cycle :P

Hi guys,

thanks for the comments and encouragement. It is good to see some familiar faces still inhabit these forums. Many of our friends are gone though, and for those people I drew the next picture.

For those interested, you can watch the process of making the above image in YouTube. Unfortunately they have 10 minute limit, and the draw time of the image was about an hour. So I had to cut the recording into six clips:
Part 1 - Sketching
Part 2 - Cleaning up
Part 3 - Cleaning & colouring
Part 4 - Colouring & shading
Part 5 - Shading & highlighting
Part 6 - Finishing up

Thanks for reading,
- Cherppow
