i've looked a bit around the forums and the net for some planeshift screenies, there i see blood comming out when attacked, but i don't get any blood when i attack or get attacked does anyone have a solution for this

hardware
windows xp sp2
dell latitude d510

Blood? In a game available to people of all ages? :o
As far as i know it has been stated that there will be no blood shown in Planeshift because it is accessible to children.
I have never seen blood in Planeshift. Can you give us links to some of this screenies?
Anyway, i guess someone modified the screenshots or maybe even the graphics in his client.

There is no blood, Peacer :} I wonder if you're referring to this screenshot? It's quite old, and some of those effects are no longer used. Should probably be removed by now.

There were "drops of blood" scattered about the forest path once used in an PR involving a tefu on a ramapge.  That was something special added by a dev/GM.  That is the only time I have ever seen blood ingame.

The "drops of blood" were actually trepor/ulber hearts with a different label. It's not likely that you'll see an official modification with more graphics for violence I think, and there should be a few threads explaining why. One of the main reasons being that PS is just not that kind of game, no matter your age. And if you were indeed referring originally to that screenshot I linked to, I don't think that was blood - just a spell effect.

try pressing the link in drey's sig to see how the ulbers flawed blood out of hte citizens of hydlaa ;)

Methinks that's an obvious modification ... looks like a simple MS paint red grafitti effect, though it could be a more expensive but equally simple Photoshop red grafitti effect :P
