this is the story of mirel sanar, first level farmer and his assistant skylros [my ingame char].

today the cows weren't making as much milk as normal, which is strange. must be to do with the azure sun. its had a strange glow recently, and the nolthrir have been more secluded in their lake. im waiting for skylros, my assistant to fetch me some seaweed to feed the cows their minerals. just as long as he doesnt kill someone on the way, the cows will make the normal amount of milk by the end of the week.

my assistant still isnt back. i fear for the poor ynnwn, as he gets lost very often. heck, last month he was trapped in the stone labyrinths! and i only sent him to get me an apple from my kitchen. on a side note, the crystal was flickering today. damn, if i see another crystal eclipse ill slaughter my octarch. at the last one, some buggers made off with my cow! but they forgot that this is the first level, and they walked into the crystal just before the eclipse was over. not a pretty sight. and what did the octarch say? "the council of yliakum has decided not to fund the purchase of any more cows." my arse, the lazy sod wants all the money for himself. i bet the council wasnt even told about the cows.

skylros is back. the daft bugger tripped o'er a rock and fell in the lake. the nolthrir had to fish 'im out from there. still, at least 'e got the seaweed though, which 'elps a bit.

those damn thieves! they made off wi' my lunch an' my pint of Old Dwarf! 7 tria they cost me, an' i still aint got my wages for last month! someone should do to my octarch what they did to Fertedian Dalko! that should teach the others to get off their fat lazy behinds and actually help the poorer community!

went down a few levels to the temple of laanx to pray for skylros. 'e taken sick last yesterday an' i wan' 'im to get better. not so 'e can milk th' cows, but so i can 'ave someone to talk to while im stuck 'ere on the first level. poor bugger.

the laanx healer 'as come up 'ere to work 'is magic on skylros. not sure if it'll work though, accordin' to th' fifth level doctor, 'e 'as some disease. noo-monia, i think 'e said. not sure though, i was too busy keepin' 'im from dyin'.

those greedy sods on secon' level are yellin' a' me, because "they havent got their milk yet". ignoran' gits. they couldn' give a damn whether or no' skylros dies! all they care abou' is their milk! oh laanx, if you see this, i plead you to heal my assistant.

it has happened. in the midst o' th' night, skylros died. i wont let the cleaners take 'is body yet, because in my eyes, 'e's still alive.

'e said "the corpse is taking valuable space in yliakum, and so are you. now that you havent been producing items for a week, we have been forced to remove your farming licence, and to now reposess your farm. we also require 1000 tria." an' i told 'im "tha's four months wages!" bu' 'e told me "it is required by law." so now, im a' th' fourth level, living with my brother and his wife.

i's time. th' entire fourth level are revolting 'gainst sartai. they also 'ave been kicked from their land by 'im.

like i said, "if there's another crystal eclipse, ill kill my octarch." well, we have. sliced 'im and diced 'im, then chucked 'is bits in the stone labyrinths for the creatures to eat. the citizens 'ave appointed me as th' next octarch, an' you know wha' th' first thing i asked for was? skylros to be buried at my farm.

i gave th' people who sartai kicked off their land their properties back, and now th' first floor is havin' a grand party in my honour.
