I don't think anyone truly owns property in PS and won't be for a while.  Yes there are conventional spots, but players should remember that they are just conventional and should be flexible wrt them.

just wait a long time for player owned shops and housing to get put in,then no debates like this.
i dont think bodacher could give a flying [censored] who uses his "spot".

well I have not loged on the forums for some time now and what draws my attention is the topic about beeing evil in PS and this one . My character Isra has every right not to agree with the new shop on the barrel next to the tavern stairs and do his best to ruin that business , and i underline MY CHARACTER , as it seems some people around take things very OOC ....get a life... . Just to be clear while Isra will never stop harrasing that Arireare fellow , i have been keeping things as IC as possible , if anyone things i exagerate just /tell me and i will try to fix the issue . On the other hand one of my other characters has no objections whatsoever to Arireare`s business and even makes purchases there....sigh i hope i made my point all this is about playing a character an if my character wants to have an argument about something or disagrees with something i realy see no point in bringing this to the forums  , just deal with it IC da... Every time i start an argument with someone in PS I get overwhelmed by OOC flamers...so yeah beeing evil in PS is impossible for now , actualy beeing anything else then a nice guy seems imposible

It's not about being unable to deal with things IC. It's when it may become too much, and start to ruin someone's in-game experience entirely. If it's one or two or three characters "harassing" Arireare, I'm sure he can handle it. If it's more, and constant, it's not fun being in the game anymore.
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

I agree with karyuus post to you. I also think that you should know where to draw the line. You also have to ask yourself this ..... when a business shuts down and goes vacant, eventually someone comes around and claims it and sets up a new shop. This is what Arireare has done. If that didn't happen we would have an overwhelming amount of empty shops in Yliakum. Also is it really that big of a deal? And where do you fit in anyway, I don't recall your name being Bodacher so I really can't see how you could take offence. I would be interested to find out IC though. IC telling Arireare you don't agree and trying to drive off business is fine, but harrassing him? That is against rules in planeshift and you could find yourself banded if you are not careful.

well I`m most certain that threatening him as to stay away from me while outside the safety of the town or asking people around not to buy from him as I can provide better merchendise at better prices would not be clasiffied as OOC harassing would it now? As for my reasons well they are actualy Isra`s reasons , as i have allreasy said my other characters don`t have a problem with him or his business ..... if you want IC reasons perhaps Isra can tell you what`s on his mind ingame :) . Again .... I have never harased anyone OOC`ish though at times i have responded to OOC insults with OOC

No more logs without permission of those involved, please. --Karyuu

:) I would hope you had  Arireare's and  Nuthedie's permission to post that log. Karyuu has pointed out in a couple of threads now how it is a no no to post logs without the permission of the participants.

Also my point wasn't just for ooc harrassment. Sometimes in character harrasment can get carried away to and make it not fun for the person you are harrassing and cause problems that in turn goes ooc. This shouldn't happen as it is a game to play for fun and we should all be civil to one and other.

No, I don't think it would be considered OOC harrassment, but if you make it a continuous habit, it might be taken as such.
