Death Realm

The Death Realm is simply too hard! I always get to the same spot, then I can't see anything. How am I supposed to keep going if I can't even see the path? I simply can't do it. I can't see anything, and then I fall and die- and I've done exactly that 11 times now, and I'm getting really pissed off. Am I the only one who literally can't see the path?

Do a little search, many, myself included have had issuse with the death realm. seek and ye shall find. there are many many threads that cover this exact problem.

Do whatever you can! This game is about socializing so ask someone until you get the right answer, we can't help you here without going spoilerish. Ask people if you can hang with'em, i'm sure some nice soul will take you under his wings.

I agree. I'll happily help if I'm in the death realm and know someone needs help. Keep asking in game for help and someone will take pity on you. I suggest hanging out near the spawn point and asking for help as people come through.

I found the Death Realm stupidly dark. Switched to fullbright for one go (search the forums for how to do this) and it was much clearer for me. Now I can wander around in blackness *and* get out - I just have to take things slowly. I rationalised this as crawling blindly about in game - after all, I wouldn't knowingly throw myself off a cliff!

For fullbright, if you are on Windows right-click on your PlaneShift shortcut, hit Properties, and then:

If the DR (or any other part of the realm) is stupidly dark, then perhaps you need to relight that particular map. In your PS setup application (for windoze users it's in the PS Crystal Blue menu folder) there is a Relight Maps option, where you can select a map to relight.

There is probably an easier way than this, but to find out which map you're in, Unstick yourself (/unstick) and it'll say "Moving back to a valid position in [mapname]"

*Warning* though, the relighting process can take a while.

If you need help and I happen to die, just shout "I need help to get out of here". Everytime I die I usually ask people around if they need help to get out! :)

It's not difficult once you know the way. And I love to help others with this simple stuff! :)

the death relm really isn't that hard al you have to do is find some one who is good follow them and you'll find the respawn spot. i mean come on people think.and if it's to dark turn up the brightness on your screen, :woot: :ban:
