Sharven Holy script bug

First, I want to say that Jayose need to also respond to "Do you have the holy script", cause this is the name of the item (he responds only to "do you have the lost holy script").

After, I've done everything necessary for the quest until I had the Holy Script. I returned to Sharven and gave it to him. Only, I had a message saying "Sharven does not need that". It might be intentional that this happens, if yes, please tell me what I need to do. If it isn't, well it is a new bug.

If you say anything to Sharven after you get the holy script from Jayose, the quest may "break" right now. It can also time out if you take too long, so right now the only thing you may be able to do is restart it, keeping these issues in mind. Also, I think having the word "lost" in there is rather vital - he runs a library, and there can be more than one holy script in his archives afterall.

if he has it, then it wouldn't be lost.  thus, no reason for the word "lost" when asking.  it'd be better if the quest had you tell him whattype of scroll you are looking for.  but like everything else, quests are a work in progress.

I didn't say anything to sharven after I started the holy script quest, I jsut run straight to sharven as soon as I had the holy script and gave it to sharven, that's all

Then it was probably an issue with the quest timing out.

If you have another quest uncompleted that involves Sharven, it would also be best to discard it - sometimes the NPCs can become confused ;]

Yeah, make sure you don't say anything to Sharven.  I used to say "hi" to the npc's just to make sure they were talking to me, which broke the quest in my case.  So just take the script to him and give it to him.
