Late reply, but damn right...
Actually the first game where the French team showed what it's capable off, not like in those snooze fests before.

And sorry to burst that bubble, but aside from producing only interesting games so far and major suckage, England's got nothing...  :whistling:

Wrong.

Pffft, England has a chance to win it and you know it.

And if France keeps this up so do they.

But I mean, damn, before that Spanish game... what the hell was france doing.

Englands got more talent though.

If the friggin referees hadn't been siding so much with the other teams then Holland would still be in... do you know how many friggin cards we got that weren't even fauls? Its not that strange that after the first cards the team finally decided that they ought to defend themselves against those murderous portugese !

woot! go germany! beat those losers from italy! (no offense to any italians but your players flop)

seriously, every time they get touched they act like some guys just punched them in the face!

and thats the only reason they won the australia v italy game...

if the refs could see instant replays the whole italian team would be booked for diving

o well...go germany!

lol, sure, sure..
we got has many cards has you guys did, and portugal were half the game in numeric disadvantege...
and besides the very first yellow card to holand that was a malecious entry over c. ronaldo and that fault was for a red card straight out, insted the referee was weak minded.
holand eaven break fairplay rules during that game..

Aaaaand, I've lost all respect for Portugal.  That was terrible reffing to say the least and Portugal are more actors than they are football players.

I spit on them.

it was a hard game, eaven in numeric disadventage we had trouble getting in, both teams were balanced, and the referee wasnt has bad has in the netherlands game..
altho i have to admit there were some shady situations both in our side as in england side..

I just watched the replay of wayne's red card, and Ronaldo winked at the side after he convinced the referee it was a red card, I have no respect for Portugal anymore. And I wonder why this is the first time since 66' that they are in the semi's again...ow wait! they just suck in soccer thats why.

(edit)
(And ow Minetus, no the referee in the dutch game wasnt that bad, he was just sent home because he was tired not because he refereed badly  :sorcerer: )

Many things to say about that match.

We'll start with Portugal.... They can't play fair one bit. Seriously, someone looks are Figo and he's on the ground rolling and fighting to stay alive. Ronaldo dives at every chance he gets, and then looks on in disbelief when an England player did the same.

Rooney's red card. How on earth did he diserve that, im pretty sure that the ref blew for a foul in his favour before the card. If he was sent of for pushing Ronaldo thats out of order, where was Ronaldo's punishment what right did he have to be protesting about that.. he was on the other side of the pitch. If the card was given for 'stamping' there's no way it was intentional, he played fantasically to keep the ball with two players hacking at his legs.

The ref also made many other poor and bias decisions.

Peter Crouch. He is a legend. He played brilliantly after being bought on, wherever the ball came up to him he was there doing something about it. If only Sven would have bought him on earlier....

After their performance there was no way in the slightest that Portugal deserved the win. England played fantasticly with 10 men.

/salute England.

Yes, I am agreeing with Cadoras.
