I agree with Drey (wow), and stop protecting your own team Minetus because thats what you've been doing for ages now. The stomp in the balls was an accident, no man would do that to another man on the field ( except for Materazzi). We all know the referee's suck in this WC and todays ref sucked again.

fine lets cut the crap!

proven fact is referee is bad, both teams played well, and dont tell me our team faked more than all the others blah blah, they all do it..

the teams were balanced from start, and with rooney out england show'd a hard fighter, maybe for that england could diserve to win, but facts are they DID NOT..

Why do men always take football to seriously? Come on guys, stop discussing like this! All teams do shit, all referries are human... There is crap in both sides...

No, England played fairly the whole match(maybe one dive from Crouch but i dont think he's actually clever enough to think up doing something like that.)

Portugal dive non stop. Ronaldo got Rooney sent off (old trafford will be an interesting place now :p).

Portugal - Germany would be a very poor match in my, extremely good, opinion. I'd much rather Italy go through, and win against Brazil.

Sorry to say this, Drey, but you are acting like a morron. I said I'd like to have both teams because I'd be happy if any of them won. It has nothing to do with the quality of the gaming, it's personal reason since I am a portuguese with a german heart. And acting like a mighty god in knowing football is non-sense. If you all want to express your opinions do so, just try to be polite when doing so, and actually look the way others post. I was not trying to be superior to anyone, as you are doing now.

But I give up on making any posts trying to calm people down. I guess you are all having too much fun flaming each other... Enjoy your own opinions, since you are not wiling to hear anyone else...

How can we be lying about something thats caught on tv? Figo acted and C. Ronaldo winked. Its the same thing like the German players did with the referee in the Germany-Sweden match when they asked for a red card for a swede ( I think it was Lucic) and the Swede recieved it with a smile from the referee, then some seconds after a german player gave the referee a pat on the back for doing a "good job". There are lots of teams acting and playing foul to win a game and your team is no exception Minetus. Maybe you don't remember your team's fouls and acting because your too cheerfull and happy for your team when the game is in progress. But the people who lose the match often see the foul play the winning team made.

Meh, I mean granted, everybody fakes, and yeah, the refs are...terrible this World Cup.  But, during the whole world cup, I haven't seen anything as bad as the Portugese playing.

Portugal - Germany would be a terrible match.  Germany is the home team and so the refs will call a little in their favour and Portugal is ... the oscar winning team.  That's all.

And when the day comes that Cadoras and Drey agree on something...there is no way that it is wrong.  The only other thing we really agree upon is each others age :P 18 \o/

Anyways, all I'm saying is it's a terrible World Cup (France-Spain has been the only match worth watching...maybe France-Korea imho) and Portugal is the worst of a very bad group.

Actualy, France is the team I kind of want to win.  Atleast they play good football.

And, as much as I hate to admit it, I really like Zidane, and he said he heard voices in the night telling him to come out of retirement and go to this years world cup...

(And more importantly, France isn't Portugal :P )

Funny thing... Portugal is the worse team ever, they fake, the are bad players, etc etc etc... But we did went to the finals in the Euro and we are for the very first time in the semi-finals...

Bad referries, bad faults, no fair-play does not explain that, hum?... Something I hate more than anything in football is, as soon as a team is winning, everyone hates the said team.

I am very proud of my team. Whatever bad they have done, they have prooved themselves by making history in our country. Everyone did their mistakes and their good things. You are all taking the credit of Portugal team, and that is unfair! Remembering a team just for the bad is like saying the Planet Earth should be destroyed because some people made crap. In Portugal people are remembering the English team not for the kick in the balls, but as a good match. Do not be so parcial...

All teams deserve to win, all teams are good and bad. Well, except one that is out already...  :whistling:

Now gonna go back to my Depeche Mode and my thesis...
