The character creation seems to be working flawlessly.
- Registered a new account at http://laanx.fragnetics.com/register/.
- Received an e-mail within 10 seconds.
- Clicked on the link.
- Ended up on a page where it asked me to enter my password twice.
- Started the game, entered the same e-mail address I used when creating the account and the password that I entered during the activation.
Everything worked as it should be.
Then I tried to find ways, how things could go wrong. Instead of the full link, I used only part of it, basically missing the end of the link with the verification ID number. Ended up on the same "Please choose a password to use with this account" page, but after entering the password, got the "Your Account Has NOT Been Validated!!" message.
So please make sure that the activation link is not wrapped over to the next line when clicking on it. The valid link has "&verificationid=xxx" at the end, where xxx is 32 characters long. If it is split into two lines in your e-mail, copy-paste them into your web browser's address line instead of clicking on the link in the e-mail. After that everything should work.
Now I have two extra accounts, one created to verify that everything works and another to see what happens if something goes wrong
