Rather simple. I would recommend "uTorrent" if you are using Windows. It is a single small EXE and runs as is.

Just download the *.torrent file, and open it into uTorrent (after you set it up a little, e.g. some default directories). Wait until it loaded segment by segment from different people who are trying the same all over the world.

YES, finally someone else who actually understands UTORRENT.

That program is one of the best bit torrent programs out there and is only slightly beaten, once in a while, by bitcomet.

I seriously suggest you Do not get Bit torrent, there are better alternatives.

Bit comet, Azeuras, and Utorrent, are the only ones i'm aware of that can be considered the best.

People more knowledgable than me have said that before and here i say it again.

We really need PS back... lol... I mean the topic shifted over to Making trees so as to get rid of excrement......

I've used all three of the torrents you suggested and more that are not worth mentioning (utorrent, bitcommet and Azureus) i have to say Azurues is the best as long as your comp can handle java bitcommet is not as good as it use to be it seems as if its getting buggier and i have serious seeding problems with it utorent is ok it's just not for me and azurues is the only one that can max my upload speed the others can only max my download thats why i use it i love to seed to my max

uses less resorces than any other.
easy to use
enough options to tweak what ya want.

Actaully I got news for all, I have tryed all torrent clients or pretty much all. Azureus was the easiest and had best DL and UL rates out of all of em. I usually get to 200kb/s DL and UL speed with it.  . I guess you could call it my oppinion, but to me its a fact for my PC. Since I did test and get results.

As a 100% Linux user (Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper Drake - and I just got my free ubuntu, xubuntu and edubuntu cd's today  )
I only use Azureus. The only thing I've got problem with is insufficient seeds or bad torrents.
uTorrent isnt even implented in the package database!

I hope I got enough downl mb left when the update comes out, I seem to have used abuot 80% without knowing 
(as a new player i've recently downloaded the previous version)

hehe i use to be 100% gentoo userthe amd64 version but because ati drivers are appaling and do more harm than good the only way i could play this game was by installing windows btw gentoo has plenty of bt clients in it's database and gfx cards get 3d accel  in the 32bit version you should try it
and btw tssthorn i can get over 300kb/s but its bt so you can only get what bandwith is available and people with higher upload speeds will always get faster downloads because they should be better seeders


and my appologize for taking this soooo far of topic i will not be posting any more and once again sorry (instead of being sorry i should not have posted i know )

I think the issues with ATI drivers are more or less for any distro, I'm on a gentoo~32 and I switched to nvidia last year.....

However I was an Azureus user until some months ago, then I tried Ktorrent and (maybe cause my download needs are limited
to linux isos and now to the client,I have to admit) I feel happy for this switch (removing lots of java-related packages).
If somebody else is using KDE..... give it a try.

blah Msrmalik sickens to the thought of using kde and qt the only wm's i use are xfce4 and fluxbox
