Unable to connect to the laanx.fragnetics.com server...

I just found out about Planeshift this weekend as I was looking for an MMORPG game/game creation tool (Crystal Space).  I register today and I'm attempting to access your server.  Before I even enter my login information the status shows that it failed to connect with the server.  When I use the Planeshift updater feature to ping the server it says it doesn't respond.  The website states the ip address is 203.81.47.91 yet if I manually ping laanx.fragnetics.com the address returned is 210.193.49.103.  Maybe this is a cluster configuration and the "203" address is correct.  Is the server down?  The server status page on your site doesn't show it down yet also seems out of date.  Is there a way I can configure the client to point to another IP?  Please let me know if there is anything I can do or should I just wait?  I am currently a player of World of Warcraft and Guild Wars.  I am unhappy with both for different reasons and I'm very interested in your offering and quite excited.  As I learn more I would like to contribute and help this project grow.  For now I'm more interested in learning more about the game first hand     .  Thank you in advance!

Sorry, I read this at some point tonight.... I guess during my disappointment in getting everything setup and ready to login only to find it to be down I transposed a different date or maybe I just got confused with the server status page that I viewed earlier.  Anyway, thank you for your INCREDIBLE response time in answering my post.  Wow! I'm impressed.  I will read closer next time and wait patiently until you all are finished with the update.  I look forward to seeing it.  Thank you again!!!

Erm guys u mean i can't use simple client that i downloaded? O.o Just downloaded it today do i need to download new client now? :S

You can also wait until the update is on the servers and you can use updater.exe.

Well yah i know my spelling sux and my parents thinks that i don't need internet in summer  they call internet operator and say bllah blah blah we no longer need your internet and stuff lol

Thom, I mean no offense and I whole-heartedly agree that learning to spell well is important, but if you are to criticize another on thier use of the english language you should pay better attention to your own.  "Learn how to spell correctly," not, "Learn how to spell right."  Spell right is improper grammar.   Sorry, I'm just bored.
