Blessed be.

Thank you all for you kind comments and best wishes.

I am home now, but still not quite there.  I will have to go back to hospital.  PS is a place for me to escape my pains and RL worries, so I hope to see you ingame to play.  Where I appreciate your care for my wellbeing and thank you for it, Please don't mull on my ailments in game as it tends to ruin my escapism.

Once more - thank you soo much for your kindness - it means a lot to me.

Having been almost directed here, and seeing there have been replies before mine, I convert what initially was to be a PM, into a public post.

When all words have been already said by those who posted before, there's the chance left to let another sing the feelings.

On a day like today:

http://www.mediafire.com/?3mn5ygpnwzh

And, if lyrics were once edited, they need to, once more, for this is not a goodbye.

"Goodbye Norma Jean" could be, maybe, changed by "Get well Jane Doe"

but others seem adequate the way they are, already:

"And they made you change your name" for it is under another name that people gets to you.

"Your candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did"
I don't know how to properly adequate this one, however, its meaning is true. For, the same way Nilrem lives in me, so do all the nice chars I met and, with them, their players.

And, as if the song writer was just starting to this of the roleplay, the unavoidable OOC/IC mixing:

"And I would have liked to know you.
But I was just a kid."

Nilrem.

I would like to post a huge

THANK YOU

to all those who helped me to retain the house I use for RP as my Royal House in Hydlaa...
People such as Donari, Yanlora, Miaua, Gag and many more who names have not yet been given me.

This guild house is an honour to have, and I am deeply touched at the support I received from fellow RPers for obtaining it.

I would like it to be easier to have guests - but it is only by holding a key that you can get in [unless you are lucky to be able to via the bug].  I would prefer that it is by guild membership, that way we could have you as a temporary member - or guest to enter.

Once more - thank you so much.

You can always have extra keys on hand to offer to guests.  I'm sure anybody you invite into your house would give them back :)

That is, if you can get extra keys.

Either way,
Congratulations :)

And, on another note, it was a pleasure to see you ingame again.

For now, I assume we have enough keys to share and to lend.

But most of all...

I am happy that the whole thing went well. I don't know how I would have had to explain to Lolitra that her house was auctioned off for "not paying taxes" no one ever claimed.

You may know that her player is in a weak healthy state; I was really afraid that this event could hurt her and ruin her curing... Losing a good roleplayer would be by far worse than not being the first guild with an own house!

I don't believe anyone concerned with their health would care about something IG. But that's me and my rational thought. :P

I believe a change of the topic post should be in order, to update this information (The Guild House). I'll also point towards the member list, and possibly some other information there requiring some maintenance (since the last update was a year ago).
Disclaimer: This is my opinion and I can be reasoned with. I'm probably right, though.

Well Lolitra is a very dedicated roleplayer and this house has been used for so long as her RP house, that it would sorta come as a blow to both her and all of her RPing. I would find myself personally angered :P

[angered for her loss and the loss of the RP we've had since I started RPing with her and her group of friends. not for if I lost a house :P]

It would not have been the end of the world for me to have missed out on the house, but I am deeply touched at the support.  For my health is far more important that this game, but the people who play characters are fantastic in their support to me.

as to the update, I will get round to that when I have more time to put the needed professionalism to it.

Farren, keep in mind this is a testing version of the final game to be. All current role play being held may be discarded in the future.

A small change is all that's needed. Add that you have a house, and where is it at and then change the memberlist (if it actually needs changing.) Or wait until you can get at it more professionally. :P

Lolitra I am glad to see you back in game and I look forward to many more RP's with you.

Congratulations on the house, which is lovely.

As for out of game concerns you know my thoughts are always with you.

I won't tolerate further sympathy and kindness. No. Not on my watch.

Please use the Guild Forum more sensibly. Nothing wrong with taking things lightly, but after a while it becomes bothersome for people reading this to actually find useful information this way.

One thing I've found very odd since the beginning is the usage of the guild system for the House of Purrty. While the Guild Chat function seems to be a very valid reason for adapting to the system, I believe the ranks could better be worked on if they weren't to abide to the strict 9 Rank policy imposed.
Using the description and a symbol system only, you could divide the several hierarchic tiers within the House of Purrty in a very original way. It would also improve the emphasis on function, as the hierarchic position would be just as visible as the function the character plays.

The general story of the guild and the plot lines developed by its members are not quite of my taste, as they depend too much on foreign concepts such as Printh and spirits (Hagarath.) Still, the members within always succeed at providing an enjoyable interaction within the game's boundaries.
Unfortunately the current Game Moderation does not provide help for players to decide which paths to take on their roleplaying.

Like I've noticed in some other threads, there is the needless enforcement of Role Playing unto members. Everyone playing PlaneShift should roleplay, so you shouldn't need to recall players about that. That is similar to requesting players to actually have characters.
The Promotional Thread itself does not divide the information in a clear way, though I can't see any information lacking. Separating and highlighting certain parts would turn this Promotional Thread into a better reference to the House of Purrty's workings.

I haven't made these critiques before merely because I didn't feel like. No special reason. :P

Whereby I understand your 'comment' on the pleasantries posted here... I cannot stop others posting what they wish/feel.

I note your oppinion on my 'ranking' and it is not as simple as you seem to think to do it your way. The whole idea of Royalty is status, not job.

I am sorry that the story is not to your taste... I refer to Printh so as NOT to fall foul of the settings in the game... and so I have a place to retreate in character when away from the game for periods of time.  Hagarath was not a spirit, it was a living curse, and many Role Players use the terminology of Spirits, Souls etc.  Hagarath was made to give me and who chose to play with me an enemy to fight and defeat... that is part of my Character's history now...  The orb, which is spoken of in the afforementioned Chest RP is designed about the current settings of Yliakum as best I could.

And I have noticed that some things that I started in RP have actually been made in game now...  Am I to be chastised for this too?
When I started RP here, there was little to go with, so with my husband's help we studied the boundaries set and came up with a story that we thought would fit and not be affected by the development of Yliakum, and would sit alongside it allowing for fun in RP.

I really don't know what to say to this comment...  Surely it is up to them to use their imagination?
