Sports would be a really cool idea kinda like \" Blitz ball \" in \" final fantasy x \" and we could have a attribute system to it aswell and you could home youre abilitys by kicking balls and stuff . Then theres the option of tournaments aswell ! I was thinking of football myself ( or as you americans call it soccer ) .  :D

Planeshift\'s idea of sports is a bunch of people killing each other in an arena.  Its very similar to European football matches (when viewing the fans).  :D

There are ideas for a few other games?but we are currently focused on the main part of the game first, and thus the arena seems an easy implementation. But as we add features we will be thinking of ?sports? as well as other competitive games that are not gladiatorial in nature.

How about a sport for aall the spellcasters out there? A wizard casts a spell like a fireball or something. And they aim in at a fragile target. the winner is the one who makes the target shatter into the most pieces! :D so the more poweful they make their spell, the more likely it is for the target to go into many many pieces. they also should have divisions for each skill level to make it fair for everyone.

Aerial Polo!  Hehe, I suppose the programmers don\'t like the idea of that.  Anyhow, if not any sports as we think of them, then I\'d at least suggest tournaments by class, such as thieves, casters, fighters, etc.  Another idea I just thought of is racing, you could have certain spots as checkpoints and have people mark down when the racer goes by to make sure no one skips one.  You could have them on horseback as well as uh... those flying things.  (I\'m too lazy to look up the name)

For the racing you really wouldn\'t even need anything different from what is already planned.

Racing sounds cool. although if its a foot race, enkudikai\'s would win almost everytime. How about animal back racing?

There should also be a card game (for free) you can bet on in each tavern , and then you shold be able to customize your own card game for some money

The racing is definitely a good idea in my mind.  Dunno about foot but at least horses and flying creatures.  And how bout some good ol\' fashion pig racing!

The cards is also a good idea as well as perhapes dice.

Cards and dice sound good to me.

In my opinion, the best games, are the simple, obvious ones. Like an Archery competition for example. Sports that make use of the skills you already have.

Yeah and there could be all the classic card games in real life like blackjack and stuff and you could bet money in the card games and races !

Yeah those are excellent ideas

-Animal-back racings
-Many games of chance in the tavern/ or just a gambling tent or hut
-Mage type Battles, maybe summon creatures and have them fight, etc.

Drinking as much as you can be without being unconscious (dueling for 2 people and betting on somebody for the others)
That s a real medieval sport, trust me  :D
Btw, i have to say i really liked  Princess Aelya s idea on wizard s sport.

Well then instead of wizard you could merely refer to that type of character as caster.  But since there aren\'t any classes as long as everyone knows what you mean it doesn\'t really matter what you would call someone who uses magic.
