Weapons and Items
« on: July 02, 2006, 05:11:47 am »
I keep seeing swords and stuff but no axes or any other weapon for that matter, I dont see anything about weapons specificly on the official site.

Are there axes and staffs and such

The two handed daggers are cool but since  want to be a Dwarve I kind of want to use a axe as my weapon.

Noob question but thats what the Newbie Help is for right?  ;)

There are swords, axes, and daggers. These are the only three groups implemented at the moment, though more are definitely coming :)

A pair of axes look absolutely wicked.
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

Well, in game i use Axes. They are uncommon yes, but they arent too hard to train, and i really enjoy the strength, and the look of them. No staffs. There are daggers, many kinds of swords, and Axes for now. But really, the majority of weapons will come in future updates.

You can buy axes at Starhammer's shop in Oda, and some Mercs at the arena drop battle axes from my experiences.

Swords are the most popular and weaponry is mainly them. But its nice to see someone wanting to use axes :)

Start off with axes from NPC shops, but, since they are in small numbers, you wont get any very strong axes. however, if you work up the trias, find a Player owned shop- that is the only way to get real quality axes the easiest, in my opinion. Other ways are auctions and trades, as well as straight up finding them.
