The reason why threads go on lilke is that you respond. So don't respond. It's become a common theme:
N00b: When will I be able to play the game?
l33t: If you just Search and look around before posting *wink smile* you would find the answer. Geez if people just wait, we're working on it*wink smile*
Other: Yeah, what he said
Other: Gosh, exactly what he said.
Other: Yeah I want to voice my complaint to. I'm going to raise my nose up further. *wink smile*
Other: that's right. when will they learn? and what he said. And *wink smile*
So the lesson is people that are new to the forums don't search before they post. It's a given fact, its time to accept it. As I expect they're impatient and if no one responds, they'll start looking for answers eventually. One of those methods might be using the search function or going on IRC. So instead of complaining and winking and smiling, let nature take its course.
It's well noted that I'm extending the thread, seemingly making this counterproductive but I've offered a solution to prevent other threads from getting longer.
This might not even be necessary anymore as the update will arrive and inevitably all this shall be a moot point.
