Does this happen every month?

The FAQ says that there is a new update about every month. So I was wondering if the servers are down every month for the testing, or is this a once-in-a-while deal?

I believe its once every two months, but more along the liens of once in a while.

Sometimes every two months, sometimes every four. I think it all has to do with the dev team and how much work they get done and how much they have to impliment and bug fix for the server to be stable. The updates can be anywhere from a day to a couple of weeks. There really isn't a pattern.

This update is admittedly taking longer than anticipated, and longer than usual.  You'll understand why once you see how much is in it.  :)

Indeed, but that's what makes it good, the wait, makes you think of what might be in the update.

Indeed. The wait makes it even more appreciated I think when the update is finally done. From what I have heard and read, there are monster surprises. I am really looking forward to the release.

I've played this game for about 5 days, then the update came along. So far I find that this game is great, and has the potential to be even better.

The thing is though, theres so much for me to do, and still some places to visit, and so this update means even more things for me to discover... On top of that, I also play another online RPG (Conquer Online), so I have lots to do. I used to play Runescape, but I was getting bored, I was running out of things to do.

But aside from all that, I can't wait for it to be done. I just love the thrill of exploration in video games

You wish you didn't have to wait, but ya know it'll all be worth it in the end...  ;)

Yes, but htat also makes the anticipation for the release so much more.  :sweatdrop:
