WoW vs. Guild Wars

A pay to play monthy game falls under the reason why someone pays for cable tv every month when they can simply watch the free public stations instead:  they do it becuase it entertains them.  Why buy any game when you can make your own deck of playing cards and play solitare all day long?  Becuase of entertainment value.

I don't play WoW but it sounds AWSOME and i have a taste of what it will be like because I play Warcraft III and warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, I'll try to urge my parents to get me WoW for Christmas, BTW WoW: The burning crusade is coming out!

Oh and the PVP in WoW is acually RPish, because if you were in the game and in the horde, Thrall would want you to kill aliance members, wouldn't he? And in the battlegrounds you can wage huge epic wars, if thats not awsome, what is?

i havent played eather of tehm but why play Wow its a payn'play thats just stupid to waste money and it dont get ya anywhere

It's not a waste of money. I'm having fun playing it. I figure that I would spend 10x as much if I bought single player games and spent the same amount of time playing them as I do WoW. (edit, actually I wouldn't, because I'd run out of games to buy )

also, ive said it so many times before - WoW really isnt expensive.
