Camera zoom issue when using scroll wheel

I found a minor annoyance in the gui.
I like walking around in 3rd person follow view. Using this I can zoom the camera in and out with the scroll wheel on my mouse.

If I open e.g. the skill window and use the mouse wheel to scroll through the skills, the camera view is zoomed as well. Seems to happen in every page I tried e.g. guild member list.

Yes this is what i hate as well we have something in common because it's happened to me plenty of times. All I'd recommend is that you restart the server. I hate though when the mouse get's stuck on you and if you move it, it zooms up and down argh it makes me angry. So if you can't put the mouse on the exit button. Then hold on your keyboard ALT and F4 and it'll get rid of the Planeshift server and then reopen Planeshift and if it comes up that you've logged in and you may have to wait 30 seconds to login again. Just wit at least a 1 minute and login to make sure you can. Good Luck if you have any other troubles reply in this topic I'd be welcomed to help you.

Yep I have it too, but only the first "click" of the scroll wheel seems to get passed on to the camera - is it the same for you?

No, it's definately more than just the first click.
I can zoom in and out to the max while browsing the skill page.

Edit:
I have spoken to someone in-game who knew some other linux users with the same problem.
For the note: I am using a cvs version of PS (latest entry in history.txt is from 2006-07-05).
