Message from the borders (a group exploration/RP session)

[Zan]

A tall, bulky Kran clad in shiny plate armor with the crest of Vaalnor on his chest and shield makes his way to the fountain of Laanx in the plaza. He looks up at the god, grumps quietly and slaps a worn piece of paper onto the rocks, holding it in place with some wax.

The paper reads:

Whoevever recieves this, please hurry and bring it to the nearest authorities. Many lives are at stake.

Border Fortress at Bronze Doors under siege. We need reïnforcements, urgently!

The bottom of the paper is drenched in rat blood and has become unreadable but it seemed to have been directions.

Tyrnal puts a piece of freshly written parchment next to the distress call and looks around over the crowd. People going about their normal lives ... merchants selling wares, townspeople walking on and off, a group of men and women heading to the temple to pray. He hopes that there are enough adventurers around to help him with his cause.

The Community of Vaalnor is organising an expedition to the Bronze Doors. We come here from Ojaveda to ask for assistance in this task. All explorers, warriors, healers, crafters and generally everyone who can be of assistance is welcome. The expedition departs from Hydlaa in a few days. We will be bringing many supplies, weapons, food and potions to reïnforce the Fortress so we will travel slowly but hope to reach the Bronze doors on the night of the second day, after our departure.

This is an RP exploration in group, free for everyone to join. We'll be travelling to the Bronze doors at our own pace while making plenty of detours to explore most likely. It is meant to be a fun experience and is going to take some time. There is also a storyline behind it but this can still develop in many directions and everyone is very welcome to add their part to the story.

Also if anyone is interested in playing the bad guys over at the Fortress, or the garisson stationed there that would be great. No worries if those positions stay open though, I have some ideas for that scenario as well and improvising is fun.

The date will be this sunday, the 9th of July and it will probably take place around 10 pm GMT. The time can vary depending on how many can make it and are online but we want as many people as possible able to make it.

Hopefully I'll see many of you in Hydlaa plaza and I'm certain we'll all have a fun experience exploring the new maps and roleplaying as well.

Big strong Kran no plate? Are you sure you're not confusing them with Klyros? I don't remember seeing anything about them not being able to wear armor, only about their skin acting like natural armor.

OOC: i would love to attend, it would be great if this client would work for me though.

IC: Delsabor scratches his head, intrigued with the invitation he has recieved. His adrenaline surges within him, and like always, adventure calls his name, loud and strong. I will do my best to attend this, my boiling blood demands it thinks Delsabor, while swinging his axes as if practicing for the journey ahead.
