Hello Guys...

I have a little Problem

I have Installed the newest version of the game.
But when i want to start the Updater... its just a white window with some things on it, sorry its hard to describe for i am from germany... i will post an image later on

my system:
amd athlon 1800+
Geforce 6600 GT (128 mb)
756 Ram

Yes it's reported in the BugTracker.

Anyway, you're not supposed to run the updater now.
Simply launch the game without using the update to update anything (this version is just out, so you've nothing to update) once some fixes are put into the update servers, instructions will be given on how to correctly update.

For the time being, if you used the updater and find that cannot join the game, try uninstalling and reinstalling again.

I don't think you're a noob.
I did the same. The installer highly recommends to update.
Didn't read the above when installed the game but maybe you guys should warn us noobs for that, in the installer.
Surely there isn't anything to update with a new version.

You're right kikkem, but the installer hasn't been touched in this release (so it keeps saying that it's recommended to update, when in fact the update servers aren't yet ready)

Consider, though, that, this is the only time when this fails (a version just has been released) as soon as the update is out, there will be no problem with it.
Fortunately there's no loss in launching the updater as recommended, you end in this forums, and sooner or later, notice that the program wasn't suggesting the best move, you uninstall the game, install it again, and you're done

i unstalled... reinstalled it and than i started the game (without the updater)
and all i get is this

That sounds as if you're still running on your windows xp drivers.
You've a good videocard, you should have no problems running the game with it.

Try installing these drivers for your graphic card:

(Download the international (diferent languages avaiable) or us version depending on the language you want the software in)

You really should have no problem with that card... :S

Try this:

Add "-console" without the quotes at the very end of the shortcut that launches planeshift.
Righ click on it, properties, and then the route must be something like ... psclient.exe" -console (please note the spacing between " and -)

That should open a window with lots of things printed in it. Try making screenshots of what that window says and post in here. Perhaps someone seeing that may suggest a proper action.

once again they've tld you to uninstall the game and reinstall it without wunning the updater. Wait till they anounce that you can run the updater. Good Luck
