Segmentation Faults

Kind of a wierd problem going on here, im running Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper Drake, and have tried getting the *nix version of PS running on it. I have attempted the bin(works best) and building from CVS. On both of these, i get continous Segmentation Faults. The CVS gives them more than the unofficial bin version. Ive built from CVS twice now, and with the bin 3 times, each time i have tried with and without replacing the art folder, replacing the art folder usually gives me a longer time before the segmentation fault. Does anyone have any idea how to get this puppy working right? I hate having to reboot into windows just to play.

For starters, when does it seg fault?

It constantly loses entities and then just segfaults, especially in 'indoor' places (arena, sewers, dungies)
