the patch that is offered to the people who got there characters wiped doesnt work, and i am actually kind of shocked to find out about this whole training for free thing because a.) i came to this forum asking for help because of a bug and recieved none, and b.) i could have sworn that i spent over 600 tria on one point of sword..... can anyone here in these forums tell me if they were lucky enough to get this bug? well if u were lucky enought to get this bug then why did u have to use it as u did... u selfish lil ****s got my character deleted and the patch they are offering me to fix my client with doesnt work, i hope u are proud of urselves

Characters get wiped.  We've told you this.  Suck it up and deal.  If you can't stand to have your precious character wiped, find a new game.  Character wipes are part of the testing phase of game developement.

it aint that my character got wiped it is a mixture of why how what changes were made and the amount of help that i have gotten thus far out of this forum..

i have only posted on this forum for one other problem of mine and in that case i got nothing but smart replys as well. now what i am ranting about isnt that my character got wiped it is that i got smart asses trying to predict my question and not read my entire post..... i am pissed because the patch that they want us to use to fix the effect of the wipe is missing a file, a simple .dll file. i was only using the wipe because that is what made this patch ad the one little file that i cant get necessary....

The forums, no place for ranting, this is a post that Neko made in a different tread:

"Everyone stop posting.  Wait for an official response. Then follow what it says to do.  There is no reason that you have to type every little thing that comes to your mind out.  Theres an IRC channel set up just for this type of situation. USE IT.  Biruno, theres a search feature for this forum, I Strongly suggest you learn how to use it.  Also, all of you, learn to use proper grammer, spelling, and English.  This is not your general chit chat area.  There are no excuses for not taking the time to make your post proper. 

In response to some of  the complaining that I read while having to sort through this mess of a thread...The game will be back up when it is back up.  You are game testers.  You test this game for bugs, when those are found, the game gets updated to fix them.  This normally means there is down time.  If you can't take a week of downtime, then you need to start looking else where for your entertainment.  Go read a book or something.  Educate yourselves on the world around you.  PS is not your life, you will survive if the server is down for maintenace.

Edit, this post was originally intended to be made 5 posts before, but people have been responding that much, so it is lower in the thread.  Prooving my point even more.

Most importantly, learn a little patience.  Its time many of you walk away form the computer for a few hours and calm down."

Myrthe, thanks, but you need not have to "defend my honour"  I have read the posts, and I'm having a good laugh at them.  I just felt that I didn't need to respond, as in doing so would only make it worse, so I'm stopping it by not responding.

Idoru that was more than childish. Your post was pointless and only an attempt to start flaming. Posts are supposed to be constructive. Nothing in your post was. I suggest the old saying "If you don't have nothing nice to say, don't say nothing at all."

Seerilice unfortantly these things happen. I know you must be frustrated with losing your character but coming on the forums and freaking out is no way going to help the problem. I suggest sending a pm to one of the forums mods if you are having trouble finding out how to get this file you are missing. I am sure one of them can help. If not the people in IRC could also help you find the information you are looking for. Good luck.

I am not going to argue with you, as from other posts on this forum you seem to like to do that very much. What you did was still very childish. Period. The forums are a place to report bugs, post wishes and have discussions about the game and its play. Not to attack and flame people.
