I WON'T PLAY

I made up my character in an honest way and you deleted it!!!!!!!!!!!!! I trained it for a long time and you know that's very boring. I won't do that again. I want my character back with all my points and objects or I won't play again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  >:( >:( >:(

You are not the only one who has a well trained character deleted. Move on, make a new one and enjoy yourself. It isn't all about training either...

i think you trained your char during the period with Experience points bugs, so you got it unfair fastly trained...thats why your char (and many others btw) has been deleted...

cool down, take some minutes and get back with a new char. many of us have to do so, too.

if i want talk or do something different from fightin, earning money and gain exp points i should not play a roleplaying game!!!!!!i'd do any other thing such as talking in a chat or in a simple forum!!!!!!sorry but i must say that u don't know the real meaning of an RPG....... >:(So i want back all my stats or i'll play in another game called LINEAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D because it's a more serious game where i won't waste my time doing the same thing( a very long thing, i.e. training and advancing character) for 2 times!!!!!!!

Dont know the meaning of an RPG???  The key words here are ROLE PLAYING Game.  Not monster whacking.  Not Training.  Not power leveling.  The Definition of role playing according to Merriam Webster is as follows:

Main Entry: role-play
Pronunciation: 'rOl-"plA, -'plA
Function: verb
transitive verb
1 : to act out the role of <role-play a shy person>
2 : to represent in action <students were asked to role-play the thoughts and feelings of each character -- R. G. Lambert>
intransitive verb : to play a role

I don't see anything in there about training or gaining levels.

ahh well, you can lead a horse to water...

As far as your opinion that one particular game is more serious than another is just that, your opinion.  Other people have different opinions.  People have different gaming styles & enjoy different types & styles of play.  To say that one is better than the other as if that is a fact for everyone astounds me.  

Making demands here or in RL generally is not a good idea.  A better approach would be to try to find out & understand why something happened.  Who knows you may find out that you agree with it.  Anyway that is my opinion.  If you have a job, try walking into your bosses office tomorrow a demand a pay raise or you will quit.  My guess is your boss would say, "I hope you find a new job soon".

All I'll say is welcome to the world of Alpha testing.  You don't like the fact that your charcter got wiped?  Go play a game that is finished.  You were warned before you began playing the game, that PS is not complete. You were also warned that during developement, wipes will happen.  You are tester first, player second around here.  That's just how these things are.  If you really can't stand to have your character deleted, then in the words of a certain forum mod,  "Have a nice day, somewhere else."

Thanks for your "sympathy". however.as you said, because i've a job I can't waste my time playing a RPG since it's not that my work. PS should be only a game, a relaxing hobby to spend my spare time. Sorry but that's "my opinion" and i'm sure that many people share my opinion. I said that because i really enjoyed the game and i started playing in an honest way, though i didn't know many things about the game... but i don't like your behaviour..sorry but that's "my opinion". About work... i advise you to dismiss that "intelligent and witty" guy who analyzed the acronym RPG......what a clever guy!

Wow,  eventhough you made a demanding post.  Rude by anyones standards.  I still tried to explain to you why things happened in a firendly way & even tried to give you some advise, again in a friendly way without trying to flame you.  I didn't insult you, I didn't call you names, and now you say you don't like my behavior?  Sir, I suggest you look in a mirrior an examine your own behavior before you start complaining about others.

A typical case of e-berserk....

It's his decision if he does not want to participate in an alpha test. The developers had their valid reasons for wiping character since the 4th, and it is not their nor our responsibilty to symphatize with people who cannot put up with the fact that an open pre alpha is not a finished game, and by the gods it is not our responsibility to care wether or not he goes off to play Lineage. I dont see how his contribution to the Planeshift Community would have made any real difference, anyways.

Heyyyyyy .. I went in and demanded that my boss give me a raise or I would quit .. funny .. he gave me one :) Too bad Ill be leaving for a new job soon anyone .. although he doesnt know it yet :)

Anyway .. my two cents worth .. love the game .. keep up the great work! and while I dont mind a wipe .. never been through one yet .. do our stats/items get wiped? or the entire character? would like to at least keep my name :)
