installer problems (it worked the last time i tried it)

i removed planeshift since i was stupid enough to update it  :oops: and i tried reinstalling it and i keep getting the following message:
Error opening file for writing
C:\Program Files\Planeshift CrystalBlue\psclient.exe
click to abort to stop the installation
or retry to try again or
ignore to skip this file

Restart your computer, make sure you uninstall your previous copy instead of overwriting, and then reinstall.

ok so i had to uninstall and reinstall...restarted the comp adn everything and it instaleld successfully


but it still wont play the game :(

have you applied the patch as it's stated in here?

Download  winrar and use it to decompress the file to the ps directory replace all existing files with the new ones when prompted and run your client again , treid this a couple of seconds a go and it has worked so far DON'T run the updater when it is suggested  ,winrar is available free to try and easily downloaded , just google it. Im off to create my very first character.. hooray

ok this sucks

1) i uninstalled and reinsatlled and restarted my comp
2)got the ptch put it on ym e drive and unzipped it where i then copied the open files into my cdrive where planeshift is

and it still doesnt work
