Yup Jekkar, that one. He was great. Best PS player I saw around. And person too. Don't the rest of you feel offended, but that's really what I think.

Unfortunely lost his contact.

I agree, it's sad he left for such a weird thing though, *winks at Natrina* .

*looks away and mumbles* Not my fault he was so protective of me.

Anyway, guess I should leave some names here, those I still remember (such a bad bad memory, and I miss a lot of people!) I miss Ciry and his dances... he was such a lovely chap.. Made my leadership all worthy to see his dwarven traces happy. Gparagonx, who was really tall and I usually missed due to the almost 12 hours difference. Max, as well of course, he was truely another level, and my right arm for quite a long time. I also miss pretty much the rest of the Bloodclaw people, some I still see (Thormor, Tinus, Jekkar, Agara, Harvey...), other I lost trace quite a while ago.

But also miss other people, like Moogie. I never was that close to her, but she was a nice person. I miss the days with Draklar and Seperot in the Temple. I miss trying to sell Ragnar with a fenki I can't recall her name, but I remember she was really cool. I miss the days I would worship the Pedestral (that turned me into the direction of creating Bloodclaw in the first place, look what it ended up in) and cooking ylians in it with Agara. Ahh, the old days are gone, but I'll always keep these people to heart, and the memory of how it felt to find a diamond for the first time, priceless, all priceless!

Well I was hoping that I wouldn't have to add this name to the thread but it appears that he won't be coming back, though I still have hopes. The moment I met this Menki we became inseparable. Where you would find one, you would find another. We made a great team, roleplayed up a storm all the time and had many mutual friends, not to mention a huge wedding and many roleplays that we were both involved in. Satayne you will truly be missed by me and you are a huge part of Zorbels character now. It is hard to know where to go from here with her story and without you. I only hope that some day that computer of yours will be fixed and you will join us in planeshift but until then take care and know I miss you much. *Big Hugs* <3

Aradia: Extraordinary player. With ability not only to create, but also immerse inside other person creations, thus aiding to create atmosphere. You managed to create a solid character, with marked gestures/abits (Aradia and the daggers covered by the sleeves, for instance) and personality. I always thought Aradia Demeter, and even more with the aid of the Thieves of Yliakum guild, could do something different in this game, and I guess she did, during the time she was around. It's always sad to see persons like Aradia leaving the game.
I had the pleasure to read and comment with you your writings, and fortunately leaving the game has not meant you dissapearing completely. Seems though that Yahoo and Gmail particular battle isn't making things easy.

Auithianilize:     ...
Implicitly... you said it. I did not think you would finally do it, though. But seems clear enough: character deleted, PM left unanswered. You're gone, and seems noone knew it before you did it. A pity. Not only for me. At least I know of one person that did enjoy very much playing with you. Surely he was not the only one. You had great abilities to play this kind of games, starting with the fact that you were pretty skilled with english usage. The only person that cared enough as to patiently tell me about the mistakes I made on character description was you. And more corrections and suggestions followed later, some having to do with posts in this forums. Our talks were often surrealistic, but always interesting or funny to read. I just hope you enjoyed as much as I did the messages sent. I guess this has come to an end now. There's just no possible way to reach you left.
There was no real need to leave like this, Auithianilize. Be well.

Iantha: I think I named this player at my first post in this thread, when naming Isra. I had the faith you would not be gone, for there was your explicit warning that you were not to be found around often. A healer of games was it? An odd story along this lines, I seem to recall... The character is gone now, deleted... and it's a great loss. Last thing I recall from you was Iantha having joined the Job Agency, checking some book with one of those little glasses that are used to read tiny letters. It's one of those "usual" scenes that I just liked to see. The "normal" life portrayed,  the complexity of simply play someone living in a land. I recall Iantha played in a very freshy way, jumping from here to there, and sticking out her tongue. Seeing you play her was fun and entertaining. I would have liked to, if only, had seen that again. Iantha personality was so much contrasting with Nuthedie, that it caused vertigo.
Unfortunately, there was no other way to reach you than in game, and I don't recall any other encounter since the one I mentioned with Iantha checking that book at Job Agency... probably some /tell.
The character name remained inside Nuthedie buddy list (as well as others) just in case you joined. But that did not happen anymore. I hope you're doing alright, Iantha.

Cendrick: Cendrick Wirad, if I recall correctly the surname. I think you were amongst the last characters I met. I say this because we met at the bronzedoors area map. There was hardly anone there by that time, so it was such a surprise to find you there. Even more to find someone that roleplayed. It felt odd, but it was one of the few times that I could talk about the Undertakers without being flamed about it. Nor IC nor OOC. I recall that, when our char encounter ended, and we were leading wherever we were meant to go, I sent you a /tell with congratulations on the play. I recall you were just doing the same thing, when receiving my message. Finding gentle people, who is conscious that is not there only to have good time himself/herself, but also that is sorrounded by other persons, deserving their fun/happyness ratio is always great. Even more when the good times spent are recognized and thanked. I seem to recall you had some experience with RP games, so it would have been nice to have heard more about your views about this one. I tried to encourage you to share them within the forums, but it seems such a thing never happened. A pity to loose people who might have added feedback from his own experience on other games of this kind, as well as nice people to play with.

Gellule: I'll omit naming your surname, Gellule... I'm pretty much aware I would not type it correctly, simply using my memory to rescue it. I do recall how we met, I think. When I tried to spread and share Tisouril's quest with every person I knew, and I thought would try to solve it, it was received with enthusiasm. It could not be otherwise, it was well planned, and everyone seemed willing to try completing it. Fact was, though, that you were the only one, Gellule, that did actually try to solve it. And so far you did complete some of its parts, while some others you were still close, but not completely right. Unfortunately that quest is now part of the past, not only because the only one trying to complete it is now gone, but also due to the quest being tied to map designs that now are gone. I also recall you under Belun's point of view. I seem to recall you were amongst the first against whom I tried Belun's character and Undertaker concept. So far it was well received, for which I thank you. It did not happen often. You had a good Explorer character, Gellule, you deserved to have completed the quest, I guess different connecting times prevented you from achieving it, you had it almost at hand.

Shooree: A Felines Lair member... one of the few I ended up knowing, together with Jjairr, though I think Jjairr is still around, somehow. Well... keeping with the "first meeting" mood, I think I too recall the first meeting I had with you, Shooree. Or at least, it's the first I recall. It was an almost comical situation, where Shooree started casting a spell that ended up making rocks inside of him. Not the best thing to eat, rocks... though fortunately there was a herbalist around, dexter enough as to make those rocks get out of Shooree stomach. Yeah, it's not that you need to be a herbalist to achieve that, you just need to put your fingers down your tongue deep enough... It was a different meeting, and I guess that's why it remains on memory. Not that anyone really feared for Shooree's life. Besides, the fact that he ended up being in charge of the library (I think) of the guild Felines Lair, made it a character not directly bound to war and battle, thus prone to result me interesting. I think you had a first break, maybe at the same time that the FL went on an "iatus" state, but I do recall you returned, but unfortunately not for long... I doubt it actually lasted a week. That first encounter will remain in memory though, Shooree.

There are many PS people I'd say I miss nowadays, but those in particular are the ones I really, really miss:

Giladrial (aka Giladriabeast): Definietely one of the coolest guys I came across during my stay in Planeshift. Clawhand/Draklar's arch enemy and at the same time his best friend, he brought so many colours to the game for me. Highly enjoyable to talk with, in general he was one of the most important figures in the early MB community. Also known to have a wooden stick in place of a tail.
Nyxie: I'm not completely sure whether she's really gone, seeing as I met her several times in CB, but either way that girl was a blast. Never became famous or anything of this sort, but none the less her playful attitude is certainly something I grew to miss in Planeshift.
Ravna: I still can't believe she wasn't around for a year or so, though I guess it's my fault for not being around to keep her in here. She always seemed to be laid back and smiling. Not many knew her well enough, but those who did, held her in high esteem. She was a real jewel in Planeshift, no doubt in that.
Catlina: I think simply saying lovable person pretty much sums up her presence in PS.
Kwartz: Meh, in my opinion the coolest Kran in the history of Planeshift. Also, my pet rock. Woe on him for blocking us on his msn!
Bobodar Stinkfoot: Why on Earth didn't I see Bobodar mentioned in this thread? I mean seriously, everyone loved Bobo! I'd expect at least one of the old timers mention his name. I'd quote that Bobo the clown thing of his, but I never memorized it. I don't think I'll forget his "You have my axe! Give me back my axe!" screams though.
Kada: That one's pretty obvious, isn't it? The highlight of Planeshift, it was her and Abaddon that brought me the highest respect for the ones who dwelled in this place long before me.
Dagger: The essence of all things assassin. No surprise she was the leader of the Assassins guild. One of the most respectable people in early MB community, along with Ayshe and stuff.

And until now I missed Clover. But it seems he's still around :P
AKA Skald

Auithianilize:     ...

I second that. She was great. One of Parallo's first friends. She told me she was planning on leaving but having a party or some such to go out with a bang. Then she just vanished.
I suggest the statue of Laanx gets turned into a statue of Parallo <3. An NPC could never replace the huge hole he left in my heart when he died  :'(
