If Rigwyn is gone, I hope he has a good life, and experience. Heck, he could be far off somewhere in the gaming world. I might stumble across him when being competitive in strategic games. Rigwyn will be missed, he was a true RP hero.
Edit: @ Talad: No it wouldn't be cooler, it would be equal. It would be equal for the lost characters, and the new ones, it would not be  'cooler' as you say.

Gidelor-My first friend IG, and one of my best friends IRL, still bugging him to get back on

Celisugh-The kindest and most patient dwarf I've ever met, he taught me essentially how to play the game

Lifaeen-The craziest mage I'm ever likely to meet

Rileha- Black-furred Fenki with a kind heart, haven't seen her on in over 2 years now, hope all is well

Lhaa and Aiwendil- Not much needs to be said about these two, seeing how well-known they are, but I miss you too, hope you are reading this!

Grunior- A very kind (and smelly) dwarf, with a great sense of humor, miss you a heap, old friend

Morila- Who chatted me up when we both got bored, happened very frequently, although I saw you on the other day, so keep coming back!

Skardellinus- The greatest Guild Eldest Ever, legendary RP's...

Taradiddle-  Witty mage with a great presence in game, miss you a lot, Taradiddle

AND lastly, MEKORA- Who i KNOW is reading this, get your lazy, blue addlepated kormi online!! Caraick misses his brother!!!

~Orathon-Met a few times when I began to play, was a nice friend until he dropped off the grid for a while.
~Kabelil-Heh, two newbs having a good time. First friend I made here! Lost contact with him after getting rid of Fosovos.
~Vayl/Euli-Oh my gosh the love/hate relationship we have XD a crazy and fun friend until problems with the new client forced her to stop playing. Will always keep you in mind
