It rocks and I love it and it owns my soul.

Hi!

*edit*

I suppose I should be fair :)

PlaneShift is a game in early alpha-development. It is not a stable, final release - things are breaking, changing, and evolving all the time. Not all character models are available right now, and not all skills either. You will be experiencing bugs, glitches, and crashes, and sometimes you will find yourself needing to have more patience that you'd originally expect. Some level of computer literacy is an important requirement as well.

But you are a tester of this game first, and a player second. Every bug report that you submit helps the dev team improve the game. Every unique suggestion and every roleplay event helps the community grow and flourish. People here are generally friendly and offer aid to the best of their abilities when asked. There are countless interesting characters that weave fascinating stories in the game, an environment rich with roleplay - and the number one thing that we want to promote.

What you get to see here is a game in fairly open development progressing through time, as you make friends and weave your own tales.

Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

If you like making useless posts that you could have answered with a little more effort, you wont. Does that explain things?
Talamir - DeT, Dark Empire, etc, etc, etc.

It rocks and I love it and it owns my soul.

I am with Karyuu on that.

If you have an imagination and you love to socialize then this is the game for you. At first Planeshift can be very exciting as there is much to learn and places, things to explore. Once the newness wears off, then you must rely on your character and roleplaying skills to keep interested in the game. There are many great roleplayers in this game who set good examples of how to create a character and hold a personality and standing in the game. In time you will come to know who they are.

Oh and one more thing ..... Please, please, PLEASE read the players guide. It will help you understand the workings of the system in the game so that you are not asking OOC (Out Of Character) questions and driving the other players nuts. If you stumble on a problem however use /tell <name> This way it won't distrub any roleplays that might be taking place in the chat box. Good luck and see you in planeshift.
I've been outside, it's overrated and the graphics suck!

I'm also with Karyuu. This game has a unique feel, unlike any other online RPG I've ever played. You really feel like you're in Yliakum, especially since players roleplay.

Unfortunately, as Karyuu said, there are many bugs and glitches in this game, and sometimes they might frustrate you. Yet they shouldn't prevent you from enjoying this game, and more importantly, from reporting them. It helps improve the game, because the developpers can fix the problem, thus making the game a little better.
