Selling Creature Bits?

*Sorry for the noobish question... (right forum at least...)*

Is it even possible anymore to sell the loot of creatures? I mean loot like legs, meat, teeth, etc. not the weapons.

I know that I used to be able to make a killing off of selling bits and pieces, but now nothing but items that I purchased in the shop even shows up in the sales category...

Any help?

Make sure you are matching up category to category.

Most bits, save the skins, are classified under the category "animal parts" I believe.  The skins are now classified as "hides". You will have to find merchants that buy/sell those types of categories.

Even though I didn't ask the original question, your response certainly went part way to answering the question that I do have.

I have been trying to locate a seller for these items, rat hides, tails etc, by asking for advice 'in game' from other players.

To date the only information that I have recieved is that the only vendor is in Oja.

I haven't found Oja yet, (but I will), as it has moved since I last played which was quite some time ago.

Can you or anybody else perhaps confirm whether there is a vendor in Hydlaa. I don't want their name or location, just confirmation of their exitstence or non exitstence, and I'll find them myself.

The category of "Hides" also includes "Skins" and "Furs". Everything else is categorized as Neko said.

Looking through the old forum posts,  Theres the merchant in the arena, a merchant in the DR, one somewhere out in the wildy area, and then one in akkaio.  Which one is where, and if that info is still valid after the last updates, well, exploration has always been a passion of mine, perhaps it will be for you as well.    I should really get that new client.    Blast you work, blast you.

Well I can assure you that the Death Guardian WILL buy your animal parts, as I go there quite often to sell Gobble ears, as well as Tefusang teeth and claws. As for the hides, there IS one in Oja, although Oja is now too far to bother walking there simply to sell a few hides. I was told that a merchant on Oja road might buy them, although I have yet to find him.

There is a merchant on the the road to Akkaio that will buy animal parts, he is closer to Akkaio than he is to Hydlaa, and can be hard to find if you dont know where he is, just look for a flying rock ^^

The merchant past the 'flying rock' buys hides as well.  That's why I posed the question before, why are both hides 'dealers' so close in proximity?  Meh, all things in good time.  Might be a good idea for someone to set up shop as in IC merchant just for hides in the Hydlaa area.     I'd be willing to pay a few less tria for saving me a long trip.  Then again, those teffy skins are heavy!
