This might be a n00b question, but I'm a little new to RPing, so I was wondering if it would be acceptable, or make sense or w/e, for me to make my own background and long history for my character? For example, pretend I came from a long lost group of royal nights or etc.

As long as it fits with in the setting of the game, I say go for it.  Feel free to hop on over to the Story Writing section of the forum and give some a few read, I think you'll find your answer quite easily.

Thx! Also, it wouldn't be something like I'm the decendent of the god and i end up changing the entire story, lol. It would be like, i'm a Klyros who's a decendent from a group of Klyros who called themselves bla blah blah or soemthing liek that, but MUCH more detail.

It's definitely a good thing to work out your character's past if you want to have a good roleplaying character. It helps define him/her and is just a lot more fun if you ask me :Dµ

But yeah the best character histories are those that are somewhat original without making an allpowerful 'whatever' out of your character. It's also nice if you can integrate some of the settings into your story and definitely not go against them

I completely agree, people who make their characters extremely powerful simply ruin the whole thing.
