I don't know if I was imagining things or not, but I am *positive* mine actually followed me one day after a /pet follow rather than just vanishing as it normally does ...

yes i've noticed that too! once every now and then the groffel will go for a walk and occasionally you'll see one trotting around (very cute when they do :P). I spent several hours running around trying to get my groffel to chase me and over the space of one week i got it work maybe twice? I'm sure it will be fixed - just not urgent

For finding a name, I suggest you check this site out, it has a lot of name generators for various things, such as character names, spell names, and a plethora of things. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a pet name generator, although you can always use another one, as the names can easily be used for pets.

This is a bit of a dumb question for this thread, but I figure here is as good as any place...

How/where do you get a pet? I'm just curious because I have seen a few dozen pets wandering around at times.

so uhm i dont know if i can mention this sort of thing but *gulps* im gonna anyways ieeeeeee


so i tried talking to my pet and the weirdest thing she answered

i asked her a few things, and then i said "follow?"
and she said no
i asked again
she said yes
i asked again
she said "your command (or use command)" i dont remember

whoaa i totally didnt know they could eve talk back D: :D

it made me so happys

I'm curious too about how to obtain this new familiar. It would suit my character perfectly! Will I have to settle with my Groffel, or may I "swap" pets in some way?  ;D If not now, maybe later on? I got my pet from a borrowed ring, before I got my own, would that matter in any way?
