Oh, well fine  :thumbdown:

Just thought I would ask here in the newbie forum where you ask questions you need help one and stuff, that way I could get a gt a head start and go straight to mining, insted of walking around aimlessly bugging people who are busy for help.

the issue is we are not allowed to on the forums, just roleplay your character out in planeshift and ask something like "sir do you know the way to the nearest mine?" etc

Planeshift doesn't work like other games, so I supposed their forums wouldn't either. I think it is expected that when you have a question or an issue with finding something out about the game, you speak to characters in the game. Ask them politely if you could have their assistance in finding out how to mine or if they can direct you to a place that could help you get the information you seek. This is why we call it roleplay. You are supposed to roleplay these things out in game. I think that is why asking questions about the game on the forums (About quests and where to find stuff) is frowned down upon. Good luck.

There is some information on mining in our Getting Started In-Game stickied guide, but when it comes to locations you really have to ask in-game :}

Regardless, the Newbie Help forum can be very useful! There are a ton of questions we can answer that don't involve spoilers at all.

Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

Zorbels is a "fenki" which is an affectionate contraction of "female Enkidukai" -she is also one of the more accomplished Role-Players in the PlaneShift Community and much can be learned from her, both in these Forums and from her in-game Role-Play. She isn't the only such Player, however. Recently in an RP sense her character was married to Satayne. As a measure of the standing and regard that both have in the PlaneShift Community, of the 171 players accounts online at that time, 138 were in Ojaveda where the wedding celebration was held. There have been a few other weddings that have drawn large numbers to attend as well.
[this event took place under the previous 0.3.014 version of PlaneShift when Yliakum was much smaller in playable area than at present]

Zorbels is also gifted artisan of "woven tapestries of light" -digital images in the real world- and she was running a studio for commissions of such works, but time is not infinate for us all and I think she has been busy with other matters of late. Again, Zorbels is not the only player and character with talent in this field - Illori is another weaver of tapestries of light, and Gebo also comes to mind. There are others too, I'm sure.

Satayne, of course, is a "menki" which is an affectionate contraction of "male Enkidukai".

I hope this post doesn't seem to be one that is growling at you koolj, for such is not my intent.

- running PlaneShift Mac OS X Tiger (10.4.11) Client, on an Apple iMac G5 2GHz PowerPC processor, 2GB DDR SDRAM, an ATI Radeon 9600 graphics card with 128MB VRAM, a 20-inch active-matrix LCD widescreen display, and a 250GB Serial ATA hard drive... so what's your excuse, huh?

The Wandering Djinn what can I say other than thank you for your kind and encouraging words. I am completely humbled and well  :'( ... I need a tissue! I try my best to make my time spent with ps worth while and fun. I guess in my doings and trying to support roleplays and community ... reading what people such as yourself type is reward enough for me and makes me just want to work harder at it. Thank you again and see you in game, or the forums...

Oh and yes unfortantly I lost all my progress with my protrait studio due to a hard drive dieing, when I started to remake the lost portraits ... I suddenly had this thing fall in my lap called a life. Does anyone want it? It is to busy for me. :P I will be posting new portraits very soon and thank you to all of those who have waited patiently. It is appreciated.
