i still cant get into planeshift with the path so daveg u say i need .3.015b to play and not just .3.015 so how do i get .3.015 i started to download it then i got disconnected and lost the link

Once you've installed .15 release successfully, you've to decompress this zip file:
http://66.111.255.12/~psmirror/015patch.zip

in your planeshift directory, and overwrite all files, when asked to do so.

Then you just need to run the updater, and you're done to play the game

when i tried to install the game tho i get a couple of files that wont install so i had to ignore is this normal or should i download another version

Reboot, uninstall the old version, then install.  (or at least delete your ps dir and kill any stalled processes)

ok i have the game installed without any probs but i cant get on it says rong version still even tho i have extracetd the patch it still has a zipper on the patch even though it went thro the extract process so im not sure if it worked or not but when i went to update it said updater updating to another build then when it finished it said couldnt coppy files  *file name*   cannot acces the file because it is being use by another process

reboot and try the updater again. and try it in recover mode, there should be a short cut in the start menu for it.

When you extract the patch files, make sure you get an overwrite prompt and that you click on yes.
