client help

can i use another client besides bittorent it just gave me a  virus

i downloaded all the stuff in the download section of teh web site not any mirrors and then the patch but i just went to play and i cant because of my firwall started blocking bittorent because of the virus so im not gonna use that anymore what else can i use?

bittorrent is a method of downloading files, my downloading from multiple-clients. Its not needed to play planeshift.

BitTorrent isn't a client. Like I said, please use the Mirrors to download PlaneShift.

Consider BitTorrent as a sort of "Download Manager". BitTorrent is a program that allows you to download files from others using the same program. So basically, you are downloading files directly from other people instead of off a website.

Besides, when the firewall says something about an application, and you have the options "Keep Blocking", "Unblock" and "Ask Me Later" doesen't mean that it gave you a virus. Its just trying to protect your PC from getting viruses by accessing the internet.

I downloaded planeshift for my mac (which is fairly new) and when i try to open "psclient" it "unexpectedly quits" before it even opens. So I can't play it!!! Can anyone help me with this???
