Region never finishes loading, and now I'm stuck

Well, I was exploring the Bronze Doors road, went one region away from Hydlaa, then two, and came to another I had never encountered (I had only started playing again last week since I left at version 3.011). I went in, and the loading screen as you cna see below popped up, but it never finished. I forced-quit, and tried again, and was loading into that region again, and it never finished loading. I must have left it for at least 30 minutes in case the connection was slow. It got as far as loading the music and birds chirping, but that was it. Now it seems I am stuck.

I have tried reloading the game, updating, and the load all maps option. For whatever reason, this region doesn't want to load for me.

Help anyone? Can a GM move my character back to Hydlaa? Any ideas why this region isn't loading? I was all exited to be going into a new place. Sigh...

Are you using a Mac by any chance? Have you run the updater?

First of all, don't use the load all maps or keep maps loaded options.  The DDS textures want to get dumpped into VRAM, and no one really has that much.  If it's not crashing, but just stalling, I'm not sure what's happening there.  It does take a long while to load, but not 30 minutes.  Please post your system specs, namely your CPU, graphics card, and RAM.

Yes, I am using a mac, and yes I have run the updater; the Planeshift one, not ChaOs' one. When I first loaded the game a week ago, ChaOs' updater caused problems. Earlier today, all the other regions were working, loading quickly, it was just this one that didn't.

Specs:

G4 Titanium 667 mhz
ATI Radeon 7500 (32mb vram)
1 gb RAM

Yeah, I know, pretty old, and Hydlaa plaza is fairly laggy, fps around 8 there usually, but the game has always run, and pretty well everwhere besides the plaza, and most regions load within 5-10 seconds.

Any ideas?

i have had the same problem just restart your computer and it will run the same

The mac version couldn't load that region at all because dfryer forgot to include the sequence plugin, but I thought that was fixed?

Yeah, if there was no sequence plugin, that would do it... Perhaps this should be taken to the Mac Issues Thread then. In the meantime, can a GM or Dev move my character in game outside of the entrance to this region, back to somewhere else? Since I have stepped into it, every time I load planeshift, it tries to load this region, which doesn't work, hence I am stuck.

The missing plugin (was actually a particle system plugin) was fixed by the 15b release, so if you can connect to the server, that problem is fixed.  I would like to see a crash log if possible
