The RPG "Fudge"?
« on: July 22, 2006, 06:18:55 am »
Has anyone here played fudge?  It's basically AD&D only more flexible and there's far less emphasis on stats, levelling up, and buying items.  Skills are on a subjective sliding scale using words like "Excpetional" and "Fair".  You start off with items based on what you decide would be appropriate for your character to have.  Like AD&D, you can give your character various flaws like "bluntess" or "quadrapalegic" in order to up your skills.  The point though is that the numbers crap is greatly cut back on.

I bring up Fudge because I find that it gets rid of a lot of the same things which I find distasteful about Planeshift as it exists presently.  If there are people here who are familiar with Fudge, then you might know what I'm getting at.
