server not updated

look, i am a relally new ( not even played yet ) well i install the updates and then its written servers no updated, and when i click to play planeshift it said >sumting unexpected happened on crystal blue..yadayadayada


what do i do?

and by the way is this game only a demo? it sais tech demo

Have you installed the patch successfully, and then ran the game updater?

You're going to have to tell me what you did :} Did you successfully extract the files within the patch.zip and place them within your main PlaneShift directory, clicking Yes on the overwrite prompt? Did you then run the PlaneShift updater?

Come to think of it, what operating system are you running?

well look....i dint use the patch....opps yeh...but i did the update thing by the updater page...

btw its windows i use

Please avoid double-posting.

If you want things to work correctly, you have to follow instructions. The patch is necessary - please download the .zip, and put the files within the .zip into your main PlaneShift directory, which in most cases is C:\Program Files\PlaneShift Crystal Blue.

You may want to reboot your computer first, just to make sure that you have no hidden PS processes running that may prevent you from installing the patch correctly.

so... ok youre advise is to download the patch and put in in the zip? that means C:\Program Files\PlaneShift Crystal Blue? but do i need to reebot my computer b4 instaling patch or later?

You have to open the .zip file with a utility like WinZip or Winrar or similar, and there will be a list of files inside - those files have to be taken out of the .zip and put into the PlaneShift Crystal Blue folder. You will get a prompt to overwrite files that are already inside the PlaneShift folder, and be sure to click on Yes.

That would be a good idea :} Reboot, uninstall completely, and try the version Neko has uploaded.
