There is only one server at the moment :} Do keep in mind that regular chat is not global - only the people at a realistic distance can hear you. The game world isn't populated by thousands of players, as usually we have anywhere from 100-160 on at a time. Try exploring - there is more than one city in the game, and you're bound to stumble onto more people as you travel.

welcome to planeshift young one, the inhabitants of yliakum is usually pretty talkative, as karyuu said you have to be in a realistic range try walking up to them give them a polite bow and say "greetings i am a newcommer of yliakum, and i have pretty much trouble with this world" or something if they don't respond the first time try nudging them, if that doesn't help, poke them and if that doesn't help either, kick them, on their knee, if you are a dwarf stomp their toes. Or do something completely third, only your imagination puts the limit.

Probably, Sp3llz had the bad luck of selecting an enkidukai as a race to start the game with.

Due to the increased distance between Hydlaa and Ojaveda that the new maps have implied, few people really stays in Ojaveda (less than before, even) making it indeed, a quite desertic city, with hardly noone in.

There are few RPers, and they now gather in Hydlaa, few dare to venture till Ojaveda, unless there's some event planned already.

All and all... sad.
Are there any MoonSeekers left?

its understandable though

im an enkidukai and the only really good thing about oja/akkaio is that you can train intelligence and sword here...the rats get old pretty fast and the rogues are mean...other than that and the tavern and jumping on things oja is pretty much a standby town...at least thats how i see it...if there were more stuff thatd be awesome case the trek from oja to hydlaa is definately aughghghghhghghghghghgh

They need to put more stuff in Oja to make it more worthwhile to go there... or shorten the road... or have more races start out there. As it is now, it's tough being an Enkidukai. (I already missed an event taking place in Hydlaa because I died.) I would make a second non-Enki character to do things with but I can't think of a good idea... and it just kind of feels like treason because Enkis are so cool.

The Enkidukai Race consists of 6 packs (or tribes) and each has its own district or dsar of Ojaveda. At the curent stage of PlaneShift's development, only the dsar of Akkaio and it's Warehouse area, is realized on the publicly accessible server.

Here is what one of locals has to say on the subject:

Ojaveda is divided into six Dsars: Akkaio, Sarraghi, Kore, Rabani, Blikau, and the Mills section.
Ojaveda is also the capital city of the Enkidukai, and all packs are represented here.
Many traders pass through the city, and most anything can be brought in Ojaveda, for a price.
Food is plentiful in Ojaveda, thanks to its many farms.

EDIT: Please correct me if I am wrong[Karyuu corrects me], but I think there are now [3] skins to choose from when Creating a Character who is of the Enkidukai. This suggests that you can see members from [3] of these packs going about their business and activity in Ojaveda, although there is only one dsar to explore so far.

Like other parts of Yliakum, there is an awesome potential for things to get very busy and exciting in the future -as ever more of this wonderful PlaneShift Universe is revealed to us! \\o//

The different Enkidukai packs all have different fur colors. Consider them different "breeds" of the same race/species.

We only have three skins available right now - Clamod, Rabani, and Blikau.

Would it be possible to add links to small named pictures of each of these skins, Karyuu?
Please?

EDIT: Thankyou, Karyuu - that is awesome! :flowers:
