Skins for what?

Try http://www.ps-mc.com, but it doesn't seem to have much content. I don't know if any other PS modding site exists.

I have made some skins though no server to upload them on. I know alot of other artists did too, you might try the search button.

A few models have been adjusted with this update - like the Enkidukai female and male Stonebreaker for example - so unless the artists have updated their skins as well, they may no longer fit properly. FYI.

Other skins would only count if they were loaded on the server and part of the client install, correct? Art mods to the local client should not be done, and would only apply to that instance of the client? Thank you.

The way it works is that only the art that is on the server and is specified for use with certain models in-game shows up universally on all clients. If you made a client-side skin mod, like altering colors or adding detail or changing a texture file completely, it's only visible to you, and those you manually give you altered files to.

Altering PlaneShift art technically should not be done - if anyone wants to create a skin, they should do so from scratch - but there's usually no harm to it unless you do something stupid or outrageous :}

I mean the skin that you can select with the updater: I think they only refer to the buttons and windows appearance. I see beautiful skins in documentation, but can olny get a basic one in my game...

Updater..? Do you mean pssetup.exe? That's the only utility you can use to change skins. The Player Guide has the original GUI, not the currently-default Elves one made by Cherppow.

Having SnagIt makes me want to take screenshots of everything all the time xD
