Pyro,
I also have compiled the code, although I am just doing it on windows for now. I have not yet compiled the server on linux. I think I remember something in the license about not offering your planeshift server as a public service unless you are an official ps server. You can sign up for that on the home page. I may be wrong, though.

Are you using roads38.zip from the last release?

The new server and client release is out. You can grab the Client from the Planeshift Project page at Sourceforge http://www.sf.net/projects/planeshift.

As for the server there is currently one running :
planeshift.fragnetics.com

BTW I\'m one of the administrators hosting this new Asian server. Although I\'m not part of the Planeshift development team I hope that we would be able to get a more involved in the community as the project develops.

It seems though there are several kinks the developers are working out. The server has been up and down in the past few hours, and I\'ve had issues running Planeshift using Windows 2000. Win98 allowed me to get in though...

Chris I think the fact that you got in with one OS and not the other is actually just chance.  Please try Win2k again now that we\'ve fixed a couple glaring problems.

Thanks for everyone\'s patience...  That\'s why we do these interim releases. :-)
