myspace planeshift

why not create more realism to the game by making myspace profiles for characters... experimenting with it check out mine... www.myspace.com/selairo ...except making it in game being able to leave comments and send pms and stuff

I tend to leave the RPing of my character in game, and to seperate RL from it.  I try to seperate the two as much as possible.  Makes things easier.

uhm good idea but i dunnos maybes a bit too much...

i hate myspace, im a hypocrite cause i have one, but i got it a long time ago and i dont even remeber my password for it

In your profile, cyborg, your character's biography says he is a khajiit, and you mention "highelves". If you're making an example, at least make a good one :P

who doesn't use one of myspace,hi5, friendster or facebook these days? i think today its the closest online thing to using the telephone is today...and i say this from simply the amount of people who use these services today

How would it allow people to RP more? Basic Planeshift idea: Edit your characters description and make it meaningful. People are supposed to be able to look at you in game and tell something about you based on the character description. That is really helps people RP better, because they will be able to respond to your description and take it into account when interacting with you. This myspace thing: Please do it if you want, but I personally do not want anything to do with it. It is worse than people using colored text in these threads! Eldoth drools, "Mmmmmm ... rotting Trepor!"

It's not too different from making a website for your character, except it's using an even more OOC template.

MySpace isn't for PlaneShift character biographies, and since people already have certain purposes and views for it, it's not the best thing to use.
