A few minor adjustments- Crafting and training
« on: August 10, 2006, 07:48:16 am »

1. In the crafting windows [mainly the furnace for melting iron ore and making steel] have the combine button built into the window alongside the 'Open inventory' button. Its would help simplify things so you don't have to click outside the screen to work on materials.

2. When training for skills, include the money price somewhere so players can calculate how much money they need to enhance a skill. Perhaps when the person buys a point in a skill, in addition to the "You received training in <skill>" include somethin like "and spent 798 tria" perhaps have the cost per point listed near the bar [I think adding an extra bar to show how much can you buy with your current tria could work as well. Would go along with the current setup.]

3. Also going along with the 2nd idea. Is there a way to fully spend the points needed to level up a skill with just one button click? I say this because its a little tiring having to click the 'purchase skill" button 54 times to level up a skill.

The last two are common, very good suggestions. I'm sure we will see them sometime in updates :]

And the first makes sense as well.
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

Oh, and while working on the crafting window. Expand it so that the entire area is visible without having to scroll. Would probably help keep clutter down.

Perhaps some more ideas on minimizing clutter in the crafting spots?
