Let me see if I can remember all of this correctly...
Ok, first of all King does not just mean male ruler...because when there were the few Queens they were usually referred to as \"King\" because she really was the King...not Queen (I remember this from that Queen from Egypt in my old history class, can\'t remeber her name)
This is my view of why:
For example, if you said \"The Queen says blahblahblah\" the other person would automatically think there was a King..because male rulers were more common...so they would call them King to avoid confusion and tradition, etc.

So...yea, there really isn\'t a problem from my point of view for there being a female King
and i probably just made it more complicated then it really is, but hey, thats what i\'m here for
