ummm.... why do the books in the library still call yilakum a city? it's clear by now it's NOT a city. plus hydlaa is still refered to as "hydlaa plaza" even though that only applies to the plaza....

that's not just now out of date, it's been out of date for years.

that's not so bad. very old maps are usually inaccurate. just think of the early maps of the world in RL history...

But in Yliakum's case they should be a bit more accurate than that because pretty much all of Yliakum has been explored. Early RL maps were inaccurate becase some of the world was unknown. In fact, if you look at the early European maps, Europe looked pretty much right but everything else looked weird.

I think that's a catchall term - meaning it's probably not meant to be taken literally. Yliakum is an underground "city"-world (the world in which it actually exists is called Ohm), and it is sometimes affectionately called City of the Azure Sun by the people.

The point is that it's terribly misleading. lots of new players have been under the misconseption that the whole game is in a single city.
